Software Engineer / QA Specialist

XNET IT PTY LTD is seeking a versatile Software Engineer with a strong focus on quality assurance and systems validation. You won’t just be writing code; you will be the guardian of our software integrity. This role is perfect for a technical professional who enjoys dissecting complex user stories, building robust automation frameworks, and ensuring that every production release is seamless and bug-free.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis & Design: Interpret user stories and functional specifications to design comprehensive test cases and prepare sophisticated test data.
- End-to-End Testing: Execute manual and automated testing suites, including smoke, functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Defect Management: Log and manage bugs via JIRA and Zephyr, ensuring every issue is tracked from discovery to resolution.
- Cross-Platform Validation: Conduct testing across various browsers, devices, emulators, and test labs to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Automation Development: Contribute to the growth of our test automation capabilities to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and validate system functionality.
- Low-Level Analysis: Perform business analysis to troubleshoot and resolve underlying system issues.
- Release Management: Verify production releases and manage testing activities across multiple concurrent projects

- Tooling Expertise: Hands-on experience with JIRA, Zephyr, and automated testing frameworks.
